Join us at 10:00 AM for an early summer hike to the Sweet-land Preserve. If water level permits, we’ll hike the South Branch of Cattaraugus Creek upstream to the preserve. We’ll plan to bag trash there and on our return downstream, effec-tively cleaning the entire South Branch corridor from the Sweetland Preserve downstream onto the Zoar Valley MUA. This is a moderate level creek hike, 4 miles total, with up to three thigh-deep creek crossings. Bring gloves, water, lunch, and wading shoes or boots; a hiking staff to help with creek crossings is also recommended.
